Clayton Gibb, a researcher with Wild Bird Research Group, a bird research and education non-profit, will present the early research findings of his Northern Saw Whet Owl tagging project. His presentation will delve into the world of avian tracking technologies, southern appalachian “sky islands”, and the breeding biology of these elusive raptors.
