Migratory songbirds and raptors begin heading south for the winter starting in September. Headwaters Bird Alliance will be hosting a fall migration walk at Gibson Bottoms as part of the Spotfin Festival at the Cowee Arts and Heritage Center. This Mainspring conserved property provides forest, meadow and riparian habitats for songbirds. We will meet at the Cowee School at 10:00 AM and carpool to Gibson Bottoms to search for fall migrants.
